A Japanese Adventure
It’s coming up on one week left in my incredible residency in Fukuoka, Japan. It’s been such an amazing experience – meeting a lot of interesting people, eating (mostly liking) the Japanese food, one emergency room visit, lots of shopping and of course, lots and lots of music. Performing 6 nights a week turns you into a real singing athlete and it never fails to be a good time performing, even on the days I’m tired. Japan has a real love for soul and jazz music and all the people I’ve met here have been kind and appreciative. Nothing makes you feel better than seeing someone enjoying your music. I’ve been really blessed having this experience and in the next couple of weeks I will film my first video! Japan is far too beautiful to not make good use of the scenery. More details coming soon! Another thing that I love about Japan is the shopping. So many great gadgets here, beauty products and shoes (that don’t fit my feet), that I’ve spent an hour at the drug store just looking at everything. Much thanks to all the wonderful staffat Bar Fizz and the Grand Hyatt who’ve helped make this such a wonderful time. Arigato gozaimas!!
