Love Song Composer was started in 2012 by singer-songwriter Markeisha Ensley. As a songwriter, Markeisha was awarded the 2011 Abe Olman Award for Excellence in Songwriting from the Songwriters Hall of Fame/Songwriters Guild of America, with previous recipients including John Legend. Markeisha has also had two songs receive an Honorable Mention in the Billboard World Songwriting Competition. You will have an initial interview to discuss the unique content, feel and arrangement of your song. Before you interview, we will also email you a questionnaire to help identify any cherished memories, thoughts or feelings you want to make sure we include. This is a fun and easy way to share your special love story and take a walk down memory lane! The Love Song Composer will then do the rest!
For a piano/vocal or guitar/vocal arrangement, it generally takes four weeks to write and record your original love song. Please allow an additional two weeks for a full band arrangement. Due to high demand and to make sure your love song is ready for your special event, please contact us - the earlier, the better!
Yes, we will send you a demo mp3 of your custom love song. You will be able to give feedback and request changes to the lyric and melody if needed. Following that revision, the final version of your song will be recorded and delivered to you.
